Hi, I’m Joe

I founded JWH Podiatry with one clear goal: to make specialist-grade podiatry accessible to patients across Greater Manchester without them ever having to leave their home. After more than a decade working within the NHS, I’ve seen first-hand how difficult it can be for patients with complex conditions, limited mobility, or caring responsibilities to get the regular foot care they need. So I decided to bring it to them.

My NHS Background

I have over 10 years of experience working within the National Health Service as a Band 7 Rheumatology Specialist Podiatrist — one of the most senior clinical grades in the profession. During my NHS career I worked across both community and hospital settings, managing some of the most complex and high-risk patients in podiatric practice, including those with:

• Rheumatoid arthritis and other inflammatory joint conditions
• Diabetes, peripheral neuropathy, and high-risk foot complications
• Peripheral vascular disease and circulation problems
• Complex nail and skin pathologies
• Post-surgical and wound care needs

How I Work

I visit patients personally for every appointment — there are no agency staff or locums. You will always see me, and I will always have time for you. I believe in clear, jargon-free communication, taking time to listen properly, and building an ongoing relationship with each patient. There is no rush — just thorough, expert care in your own home.

Continuing Professional Development

As an HCPC registrant I maintain my registration through regular CPD activity and keep fully up to date with evidence-based practice in podiatry, rheumatology, and diabetic foot care. You can be confident that every visit reflects current clinical standards.
